The inside cushion is comfortable and soft but a bit thin. The material between the shell and the cushion is that white hard foam same as regular bike helmets. Not sure how it will feel hitting my head on the ground with this on. Hope I never find out! Very satisfied overall. I ordered size XL. Also comes with the scarf. Arrived within month to U.S. I will be using this for my e-bike top speed of about 35mph. I've attached acouple of pictures.Excellent! I fixed it all myself with some adhesive and whatnot , and I've been using it, but you're definitely getting what you pay for, its a looker from afar, not something to expect much from I guess. A helmet I or my passenger will wear.
